Anglet Culture grew out of Littorale to cover the town's wider cultural programme (library, riding school, community arts and Galerie Pompidou) and needed a system flexible enough to hold them all.
We built a logo from playful shapes spelling A-C-B, gave each brochure its own symbol, and printed the whole thing in two Pantones. For the gallery, rather than a new identity of its own, we consolidated the offer under one name, Centre d'Art Contemporain d'Anglet, with Villa Beatrix Enea and Galerie Pompidou keeping their own names under an umbrella identity tied to the city's name. Exhibition visuals and a catalogue system followed. The whole system held up so well that, for a while, it read stronger than the city's own branding.
